Sometimes we just need a good break. We all have busy schedules with school, work, going to the gym, socialising, playing sport and everything in between.

We all know a lot of these day-to-day tasks and hobbies make us feel happy and good, but we can’t avoid that there can be added pressures to them as well.

When we don’t have a break and care for ourselves, we can experience burnout. Burnout can affect your health and make you extremely exhausted, as you are overworked. That’s ok. Sometimes, there is just too much going on.

This is a gentle reminder to take a break and do something for yourself! Even if it’s just sitting in your car for three minutes listening to your favourite song before you go inside, or even walking your dog. Try to do something alone and for yourself before you do these activities with friends and family.

As you can see, a lot of us will be doing the same strategy, and that is totally fine. You just need to find what makes YOU feel good.
