When we make candles it’s important to take some time to be able to focus on what we are doing. The motions of mixing, pouring and waiting for the lovely smelling mixture to be ready can be calming for many people.
Scented candles can be helpful and have calming effects on mood, stress, working capacity and overall mental health
The 18-25 program got together last Friday did some candle making online. We didn’t do your typical melt and pour method, so here’s a different way of making candles and it’s safer for the younger ones.
What we used was Bees Wax sheets and some wick and simply using the method of rolling and pressing, as you will see in the video.
