Imran Abul Kashem is an award-winning, acclaimed Melbourne Photographer who has a love for photographing many local Wyndham areas – he knows all the secret gems! Imran specialises in documentary and travel photography, along with portraiture and a flair for headshots, corporate events and commercial photography. He founded Westend Photography and teaches photographic fundamentals
About this event
Special places will be introduced to you via your camera viewfinder. Observe, reflect and learn tools to creatively express yourself alongside basic photographic skills in composition and lighting. There will be an opportunity to ask questions.
Open to everyone aged 16 years and older. All camera types are welcome (DSLR/SLR/Phone) and no prior photographic experience is required.
After you have made a booking specific information about your tour will be emailed to you via Eventbrite. Please check your inbox for these emails as they will contain important information about where to meet.
Each tour is limited to 10 people, please ensure you are available and schedule the tour in your calendar. We appreciate that unforeseen commitments may arise, in the instance, this occurs please cancel your booking as soon as possible to ensure your spot is available for someone else.

Saturday 20 February, 9am – 1pm, Werribee River with special guest, John Forrester, Werribee Riverkeeper. Meet on Wyndham Park Bridge. This tour includes 4 locations: Wyndham Park, Bungies Hole, Doolan Street, and Werribee River Park. Please note you will need your own car to attend this tour.
Wednesday 24 February, 6pm – 7.30pm, Crocodile Park, Point Cook. Meet at Saltwater Coast Lifestyle Centre.
Saturday 20 March, 5pm – 6.30pm, Explore a local community park like no other! Meet at Baden Powell Reserve.
Saturday 27 March, 10am – 2pm Little River taking in historical sites and reserves. Meet at Little River Station, followed by Rothwell Reserve, McNaughtons Reserve, and Little River Mechanics Institute Hall.
Tour itineraries will be emailed to you via Eventbrite the week before the event, and 2 day’s prior as a reminder.
What to bring on tour:
Either a phone camera or DSLR is ok, and if you wish to take notes please bring a notebook and pen. The tour is walking so please dress to be outdoors, along with appropriate shoes. Bring along your own water and snacks.
