If you are stuck at home while social distancing, why not take this opportunity to grow your own food?
This free, five-session online course will guide you step by step to successfully grow your own vegetables and herbs. You will be guided by a local food gardening expert Scott Hitchins to ensure first time success!
These sessions aren’t only for beginners! If you have questions or have experienced some issues growing your veggies this course is still for you! You will be able to resolve your questions and keep ahead with your garden.
Are you renting, don’t have enough space or feel that you don’t have enough materials to start?
Don’t worry, we’ll provide you some seeds for you to start your gardening journey and will guide you on how to use everyday objects around your home like recycled containers to start your edible garden. You won’t need more than your seeds!
After the fourth session we’ll give you some time to establish your garden and come back for a final Q&A session.
In order to have success, it is a must for you to register and attend all the sessions to keep continuity on the topics we will cover. Participants that have completed all classes go in the draw to win a prize!
You’ll only need to register once, for participation in each session.
