NDSP Plan Managers, Jobfind and Mable are NDIS providers working in the disability sector across a range of services. We often work with secondary school leavers who use NDIS funding to engage in work and volunteering opportunities, and our conversations with those students and their families have prompted us to create an information session with a view to addressing FAQ’s.

Currently, we are planning to host three sessions in the second semester of Year 12 for as many families as can attend:
29th Sept – 1pm to 2pm
27th Oct – 10am to 11am
29th Oct – 1pm to 2pm

As there are specific NDIS initiatives tailored to Year 12 students, we think this would be the best time to answer questions that families often sit with as they plan the “what next” brought on by Year 12 (We all have very vivid memories of this from the end of high school!).

1pm Event commences and acknowledgement

1.10pm Mable present on choice when engaging “right fit” supports to work alongside student

1.20pm Jobfind present on School Leavers Employment Services (SLES) and accessing tailored employment and volunteering assistance

1:30pm NDSP Plan Managers present on maximising flexibility of Plan spend and the impact of choosing NDIA, Plan or Self-management for budgets

1:40pm Q&A

Accessibility – We are committed to presenting an accessible session. This will be a virtual presentation and any specific requirements are requested in advance so that we can make arrangements as necessary.

Recording – Sessions will not be recorded.

Platform – A zoom link will be emailed to all registered individuals prior to the session.
