In this recipe Adele shows us a delicious Banana and Strawberry Nice-Cream desert that makes use of any remaining fruits that may otherwise go to waste.  Best of all you can use what you have, swap out strawberries for kiwis or bananas for mangoes, anything goes!

Storing  and freezing your food correctly has the potential to make your food last much longer and reduce heaps of food waste! Check out this  Love Food Hate Waste A to Z of Food Storage  which also includes info on what foods can be frozen.

1 cup banana, sliced thinly

1-2 cups mixed berries, rinsed

Dash of almond milk  (can use other preferred milk, nut or seed milks etc.)

  1. Place non-stick baking paper on a freezer tray and arrange your fruit, so it’s laying flat and not touching and place into your freezer overnight.
  2. Pop all of the frozen fruit into your blender or food processor and blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Scrape down the sides if needed and add a touch of almond milk for a smoother consistency.
  4. Serve immediately with toppings of your choice (shredded coconut, nuts, choc chips etc.)
