Sometimes it can be hard to complement ourselves, especially when we are not feeling the happiest.

It is important for us to set goals and affirm ourselves. The purpose of affirmations is to help as a reminder that things are still good for us even if we feel they aren’t at the time.

Here’s a little activity that you can do (probably best to do when you are feeling motivated).

Get a jar and fill it up with affirmations, goals, quotes and activities or anything that will make you smile.

This is so if you are feeling down at that moment you can pick a piece of paper from the jar and remind yourself how awesome you are.

You can also do this as a memory jar and fill it with some of your favourite memories that occur throughout the year.
